Editorial policy
Shopper usefulness comes first
Commercial intent does not remove the need for accurate information. Product facts, recommendations and affiliate relationships should remain clearly distinguishable.
Current product information
Specifications, formulas, package details and seller terms should come from identifiable current sources where possible.
Recommendations
A higher commission should not turn a poor fit into a recommendation. Important limitations and alternatives should remain visible when they matter to the shopper.
Corrections and updates
Material factual errors should be corrected when verified. Fast-changing product and deal information should be rechecked rather than refreshed only by changing a date.
